Beaches with dogs in Gran Canaria

If you visit Arguineguín or Mogán with your pet, check that the beach you want to visit has an authorized area for dogs. A quiet or uncrowded beach does not mean that it allows animals.

Bocabarranco: area enabled for pets

The City Council of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria describes an area of Bocabarranco beach, in Jinámar and shared with Telde, enabled for pet exercise and bathing. The municipal sheet warns of strong waves and wind: check the conditions before entering the water.

Before going with your dog

  • Check the signage and the enabled area; The authorization may be limited to a part of the beach.
  • Pick up waste, bring water and keep your dog under control.
  • Check the restrictions and current regulations of the municipality.
